Right outside the cabin door, you have plenty of opportunities to explore the area on foot and on skis. There's a ski trail that runs right past the cabin, a cross-country skiing paradise for those particularly interested. Head up to Slettefjell via one of the many trails and enjoy the views and varied hiking opportunities. A drive away from the cabin you'll find Beitostølen, where you can enjoy a tasty meal, shop in the stores and ski down the many slopes.
