About this house rental
From the moment you step into this log cabin at Mosetertoppen, you are enveloped in tranquility. With panoramic views of Skeikampen and Jotunheimen, the large windows create the perfect setting for enjoying the mountain landscape, while the flames of the fireplace dance in the background.
The open floor plan connects the living room, kitchen, and dining area into one large room, where the Naim hi-fi system creates the right atmosphere. A cozy corner in the conservatory invites you to relax, while the children can enjoy their own streaming favorites on the first floor.
Two covered terraces surround the cabin and offer ample opportunity for outdoor living. In winter, you can dig into the snow and create your own little oasis around the fire pit, while summer evenings can be enjoyed with views of the mountains.
From the cabin, you are only a few steps away from the Mosetertoppen ski stadium with a grocery store, sports shop, and restaurants. The area offers endless possibilities—from alpine skiing at Hafjell to cycling routes and hiking trails in the summer. Lillehammer with the Olympic Park and Maihaugen is also within easy reach.

Fantastic views, plenty of space in the well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely living room with plenty of space.
Nice rooms, though they could use more closet space or some coat hooks.
Ski-out is via the cross-country trail just below the cabin, and ski-in is via the ski trail from Mosetertoppen and a few shortcuts through some gardens.
We’ve already inquired about next year.

It was a fantastic vacation home. It had everything you could possibly need. The photos matched the house very well, and it had all the rooms, bathrooms, and everything else that the description promised.
It was quiet, no noise, and it was easy to get from the slopes to the cabin.
However, it was a little more difficult to get from the cottage to the slopes, especially for younger skiers, but we figured it out, and the cottage made up for it.
Communication with Dominic was as it should be.
