Old barn near the beach with fireplace, sauna and plenty of space for families

The Westerscheune is one of four vacation homes that belong to the Osteehof Langfeld—a typical 18th-century Angeliter four-sided farmstead located just a few hundred meters from Falshöft Beach. The former barn was converted into a residence with great attention to historical detail. The result is a unique blend of old and new. Solid oak and pine floors meet stainless steel kitchens and concrete countertops; old, stripped doors meet iron windows; and the historic brick floor in the threshing floor meets a state-of-the-art fireplace.

This highly distinctive blend of tradition and modernity creates a unique, loft-like atmosphere. Eight people can stay comfortably in the four bedrooms, which share a total of three bathrooms. Bed linens and towels are included in the price. The large kitchen-diner and two living rooms offer plenty of space to relax.

If needed, an additional guest room (the “Cubicle Room” or “Old Workshop”) for two people with a private bathroom can be rented in the adjacent cowshed.

Modern amenities include a TV, stereo system, and Wi-Fi, as well as a sauna—also located in the cowshed—with a relaxation room and a view of the Falshöft lighthouse.

You can add sauna access during the booking process under the “Amenities” section. We offer a flat rate for the entire stay. The flat rate is charged per day and per house and allows all guests to use the sauna as often and whenever they like.
