About this house rental
This holiday home is situated right on the Baltic Sea, on a large natural plot where cliffs, woodland and water provide the backdrop to your holiday. From the plot, there are views along the Bornholm coast, and just 50 metres from the house you’ll find the water and a small cove with pebbles and sand.
The house dates from the 1860s and has been continuously renovated, so it now has a contemporary feel. The house has two storeys and covers 186 m², accommodating 8 people across 4 bedrooms and two living rooms. It is laid out to provide plenty of space for both families and friends wishing to holiday together, whilst still allowing for some privacy. The property also features one large and one smaller bathroom, both with showers.
The kitchen is somewhat dated but in good working order and well-equipped, including a dishwasher, oven, fridge and freezer. There are various electrical kitchen appliances. The house has internet access and a washing machine, and heating is provided by both a heat pump and an oil-fired boiler.
Outdoors, the experience continues on the private natural grounds. The grounds themselves offer a true experience of nature, with steep rocky slopes and rift valleys, where Møllegård Bæk flows on either side of the property, creating small waterfalls. To the north of the house, a small bridge provides access to a private woodland where you can go exploring. A moss-green forest path winds its way through the woodland and leads down to a small, hidden cove with both light-coloured sand and pebbles. From the cliffs, the view stretches towards the Helligdomsklipperne cliffs, Gudhjem, Christiansø and on to Bådsted Harbour. It is approximately 1 km to the nearest restaurant and 3.5 km to the shops, so both nature and everyday amenities are within easy reach.
Up to two pets are welcome, so you can bring your dogs on holiday.
**** PLEASE NOTE that right next to the house there is a small service building, which is currently being refurbished as part of a planned glamping site expected to open in the summer of 2027. Renovation and construction work will therefore take place on the site from time to time. The service building can be seen in the photo as the white building with a sloping roof facing the water. During the summer period from mid-June to mid-August, it is to be expected that the kitchen and bathroom facilities in the service building will be used by glamping guests. Five glamping tents are expected. The service building is not included in the tenancy. *****
Energy (electricity) is not included in the price and must be paid according to consumption based on the meter reading. See the price per kWh when booking. Settlement is made only after the stay. Note: Not for commercial rental.
