Welcome to 78 North, a stylish lakefront retreat on the coveted east end of Crystal Lake in Beulah, Michigan. With direct lake access, sandy-bottom swimming, Caribbean-blue water, and long west-facing sunset views, this is the kind of Northern Michigan lake house that makes summer feel pretty hard to beat.

This thoughtfully updated home is being finished for summer and will feature 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, multiple living spaces, a private guest suite over the garage, a bunk room, hot tub, private dock, and sleeping space for up to 12 guests.

The main cottage has a bright, fresh lake house feel with updated finishes, comfortable gathering spaces, and beautiful lake views. The kitchen and living areas are designed for easy vacation days, whether you’re starting the morning with coffee, making lunch between swims, or relaxing after sunset.

The second-floor primary bedroom has a king bed and Crystal Lake views right outside the window.

The bunk room includes two twin-over-twin bunk beds, sleeping up to four.

A second king bedroom is located down the hall from the bunk room and includes a small workspace/desk. This room also has an additional entrance/exit with stairs leading toward the breezeway area.

The private guest suite/apartment over the garage includes a king bedroom, full bathroom, kitchenette, living area, TV, and its own entrance.

A cozy TV room between the primary bedroom and bunk room will include a sleeper sofa for up to two additional guests.

Outside is where 78 North really shines. Guests can enjoy the private dock, sandy lake frontage, beach chairs, kayaks, paddleboards, and lily pad. A hot tub with privacy fencing is being added in the breezeway area, giving guests another great place to relax after a full day on the lake.

The location is also a major highlight. You’re on the east end of Crystal Lake, known for clear water, sandy swimming, and incredible sunset views looking west down the lake. Downtown Beulah is very close and walkable, with restaurants, coffee, ice cream, shops, parks, and the Betsie Valley Trail nearby. Frankfort, Lake Michigan beaches, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Crystal Mountain, wineries, hiking, biking, boating, and Point Betsie Lighthouse are all an easy drive away.

The hot tub with privacy fencing is planned for the breezeway area and expected to be ready for summer stays.

A private dock, kayaks, paddleboards, beach chairs, and lily pad are planned/provided for guest use. A mooring and boat lift may be added, but are not guaranteed at this time.

Parking is limited due to the lakefront location. Guests will have one garage parking space, one possible compact parking space near the garage, and additional nearby parking on Benzie Blvd.

The property has 25 feet of lake frontage, and guests should be mindful of neighboring properties. Please use the north side of the home as the path between the east side of the property and the lakefront.

Pets are allowed with approval and applicable pet fee.
