About this apartment rental
Seven miles south of Portland, Milwaukie doesn't get nearly enough credit — and guests who find this townhome tend to figure that out fast. You're close enough to the city to spend a day in the Pearl District or catch a show, but the pace here is different. There's a creek on the property. There are food trucks. There's a deck made for evenings that don't end on schedule. If your version of a good trip involves a little outdoor time, a real kitchen, and a neighborhood that feels lived-in rather than touristy, this is a strong fit.
The Space
This 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom townhome sleeps up to eight guests across three bedrooms and a living room sleeper sofa, with an additional twin air mattress available if needed. The layout works well for families, groups of friends, or multi-generational travel — and one bedroom and one full bathroom are located on the first floor, which helps if stairs are a consideration. There's one step at the entry.
The living area is set up for actual relaxation: Smart TV, mood lighting throughout the home, and enough seating to get everyone in the same room. The kitchen is genuinely equipped — full stove and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, crockpot, and a De'Longhi espresso machine with a custom tea kettle for the mornings when coffee is the whole plan. The dining table and breakfast bar handle meals whether you're feeding two or eight.
Both bathrooms are well-appointed. The primary bath features a walk-in shower with jets, a built-in seat, and a handheld showerhead — a detail that earns its keep after a day of activity. The second bath has a shower/tub combo.

Outside
The furnished deck is the natural gathering spot — a beverage table and seating make it easy to spend an evening outside without much planning. The backyard is fenced and shared with the on-site tenant, who lives in a completely separate unit. The creek runs through the property and offers genuine on-site fishing access, which is a rare find in a vacation rental.
Guests are welcome to bring dogs (pet fee applies, paid prior to arrival).
The Neighborhood
The property sits near Kellogg Creek, which flows into the Willamette River — a natural corridor that connects the neighborhood to some of Milwaukie's best outdoor access. Milwaukie Bay Park is a short drive for summer swimming and waterfront time. Downtown Milwaukie's food truck scene and local eateries are close by for easy meals out. Portland's core — the Pearl District, Powell's Books, the Hawthorne District — is about 7 miles north and reachable by car or public transit.
A Few Things to Know
A tenant lives on-site in a separate, self-contained unit and may be present during your stay. The backyard is shared. Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The garage is not available for guest use. Three off-street parking spaces are included. One exterior security camera faces the front entryway — it is outward-facing, records video and audio when motion-activated, and does not capture any interior spaces.
