About this bed and breakfast
Two bedrooms feature double beds, while the third is furnished with a single bed. The front bedrooms enjoy beautiful filtered afternoon light, adding a warm and inviting feel to the home later in the day. Central heating throughout keeps the property comfortable year-round, while the living area provides a relaxed space to unwind with comfortable furnishings and an easy, homely atmosphere. The home also enjoys a lovely flow of natural light and fresh air throughout.
The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for preparing meals at home, whether it’s a quick breakfast before heading out or a relaxed dinner after a busy day around Hobart. The bathroom features an original oversized cast iron pedestal bath along with a separate shower, blending character with practicality for everyday comfort.
Outside, a private and welcoming outdoor area with seating offers a quiet spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine when the weather allows.
A dedicated off-street parking space is available for one car, with additional on-street parking nearby if required, which is time-limited to two hours. However, from this prime location, you may find you rarely need to drive. Take the Battery Point Sculpture Trail through one of Hobart’s most historic neighbourhoods and continue on foot into Salamanca Place, the waterfront, and the CBD.
You’re also close to some of Hobart’s favourite cafés and restaurants, including In Good Company, Six Russell for coffee and brunch, Peppina for dining, and Jackman & McRoss for pastries, bread, and sweet treats.
Please note: the dining table has seating for 4 only. There is an additional chair in the entryway for added seating when required.
Please note: the parking space/car port is tight and reversing into it is advised. Cars may be parked on the street, butted right up to the lines which may make it difficult to get into and out of the garage space. There is parking on the street but it is limited to two hours so please be mindful of this when parking your vehicle. Do NOT park in the garage (through the doors at the end of the carport). Also be mindful of the car port height which is 1.8m. Small cars recommended.
Please note that when booking and paying by card, a small fee will appear on your statement as a “ReslyPay” charge. This fee is set by the booking platform and is not controlled by us. Thank you for your understanding.
