The property sits in a convenient spot near the heart of the historic town of Kidwelly, along the banks of the River Gwendraeth. The impressive 12th-century Norman-era castle is just 150 metres from the doorstep, with other attractions around the town including Kidwelly Quay, Glan-yr-Afon Nature Reserve and the Kidwelly Standing Stone. To the south, the beautiful Pembrey Country Park (6.5 miles) leads to the tranquil Pembrey Beach and on to the gorgeous Cefn Sidan Sands (8 miles). For a day at the races, head to the Ffos Las Racecourse (5 miles). Travelling south-east, the bustling resort of Llanelli (9.5 miles) has a lovely beach and a beautiful wetlands centre.
