About this house rental
The cottages of Fretard welcome you in the calm of a small hamlet of Briaud, a few kilometers from Angoulême and a few steps from our stable, "l'Ecurie des Frottards". The proximity of the horses will be an opportunity for discovery for some and a moment of pleasure for enthusiasts.
The two cottages are adjoining but will not be rented simultaneously, so all the outdoor space will be at your disposal.
Thanks to its two bedrooms, your stay can be done with the family. There is everything you need for the youngest. The cottage is fully equipped to make your life easier both inside and outside.
From the Fretard cottages you can visit Angoulême and La Rochefoucauld about fifteen minutes away by car, walk in the forest, on the banks of the Charente or on our country lanes, and discover many villages on the occasion of a Terra Aventura (https://www.terra-aventura.fr/). To go further in your discovery of the Charente you will be 45 minutes from Cognac and one hour from Aubeterre-sur-Dronne. Beyond that, the coast of Charente-Maritime is 2 hours away, as is the Bordeaux metropolis, classified Unesco, and the green Dordogne less than an hour away.
For riders wishing to travel with their horse, we will also be happy to host your companion. You will then be able to take advantage of our facilities. To do this, it is essential to send us a message at the time of your booking, we will then send you all the conditions and rates.
This first cottage can accommodate up to 4 people.
Access is directly through the living room, which includes a living room, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. At your disposal, an oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a Senseo coffee maker, a kettle, a cookeo, a raclette set, and more...

Upstairs are the two bedrooms and the shower room. A first bedroom, with a 140cm double bed, storage cupboard and television. A second bedroom with two 90cm bunk beds, and storage shelves.
Hotel quality bed linen is provided.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a vanity unit, and a washing machine. Bath linen is provided.
