Serene family friendly 3-bedroom house in charming Antigua Guatemala awaits you

Enjoy tranquility for up to 6 - 8 guests in this spacious home in Antigua's quiet San Bartolomé Becerra neighborhood. Three bedrooms with 3 1/2 baths within walking distance to Colonial Antigua. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. Plus two folding beds are available for two more guests. Large living room, adjoining half bathroom, kitchenette with dining area, office/game room, garden area, and expansive rooftop deck. An on site property manager lives in a separate private apartment.

With a sunny expansive rooftop terrace with volcano views and a courtyard garden with covered corridor there is plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. In addition to the three bedrooms, the Interior space includes a large living room with a nearby powder room. An office/game room is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. The dining area and kitchenette are in the covered colonial corridor.

The primary bedroom has a king size bed, the second bedroom has a queen size bed, and the third bedroom has a matrimonial size (double) bed. All three bedrooms have their own bathroom. Adjacent to the second bedroom is the game room / office with two folding single beds.

Within an 8 minute walk is a shopping center with a supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, gym, and modern playground. The central park in downtown Colonial Antigua is a half hour walk from the house.

There is plenty of free, 24 hour parking on the street outside the house. And bus stops for inexpensive bus service to the downtown and Mercado are a short walk away.

One guest said in a review, “This is the most beautiful house I have ever stayed in ….” We are quite proud of its beauty and comfort.

Several cats belong to the resident property manager and might wander into common areas. The cats are not allowed in the bedrooms. If you have severe cat allergies this house might not be right for you.

All three bedrooms are on the same first floor level. Though not wheelchair accessible because of single steps to each room from the colonial corridor, guests with some mobility challenges will find this home quite accommodating. There is one step into the house from the street. Up to the rooftop deck there is a narrow spiral staircase. Upon special arrangement, guests with mobility challenges can use a custom built elevator to the rooftop deck.

Our property manager lives in a separate attached apartment with two children. Their private space includes the indoor dining room, its attached kitchen and the garage that are not available to our guests. The guest space provides a dining area and a kitchenette with a two burner stove that are in the covered colonial corridor.

This is a smoke free house. SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED ANYWHERE on the property, inside any room and outside in the courtyard, in the corridors and on the rooftop terrace.

CLEANING AND GARDENING STAFF: Our team might be accessing and working on the roof terrace, in the garden or in the corridors and common areas during your visit. If anything needs our attention, please inform us.

LAUNDRY: Washer/dryer are located in the garage and are available (with laundry detergent) by coordinating with property manager. She will unlock the interior door to the garage for you to have access. Please give her sufficient advance notice.
