About this house rental
The house is located in the second row, about 300 meters from the beach. The kitchen terrace faces the forest edge, while the large terrace faces the sea.
The natural garden features mowed lawns, with shrubs and trees trimmed to keep the view unobstructed. Fallow deer, hares, pheasants, and occasionally a fox make appearances in the garden. A cozy fire pit is located by the lawn, and the house borders the forest. The sandy beach—which you often have to yourself—is reached via a staircase down a 30-meter-high slope.
The Mols Mountains offer hiking trails, and the Kalø Castle Ruins are a popular destination in the area. Crab fishing is available in Skødshoved Harbor, golf in Kalø and Lübker, safari parks near Ebeltoft, and a petanque court 100 meters from the house. Ebeltoft and Aarhus feature cafés and restaurants. Head to Isgård to see the memorial plaque honoring Tolkien, who is said to have found inspiration for The Lord of the Rings in this very area.
