Toledobend is known for its beautiful lake and many people come here to camp and getaway!
Come and stay awhile .... relax and enjoy! We have a Marina with store and restaurant within 5 minutes. Also, a Dollar general located 10 minutes.
Our guest have access to the cozy lil cabin, which also has a charcoal grill outside along with a fire pit!
You can also walk the property if you like to get in a little exercise!
I have a vintage minature log cabin that was built in 1916 by my grandpa which was moved on this property in 2016..a hundred years later!
I call it my "War room"...aka as my prayer room.
Toledo Bend is known for its beautiful Lake 185,000 acres. It is the largest man-made body of water in the South and the fifth largest in the United States, spanning the border of Texas and Louisiana. It is surrounded by beauty and tons of camps! This cabin sits on 4 acres of beautiful Pines! There is camps all over the place but when you sit on this property you can barely see any of it! The cabin is across the street from where I live and I can't even see it! it's pretty and secluded! This property also houses a mobile home currently under renovation! It'll be available in the near future along with a RV spot!. I hope to see you soon! it's beautiful, peaceful and wonderful place to be!
Our guests can have interaction with us by phone at anytime. We're also across the street, so there is definitely no problem if you need any assistance. If you would like to hear our story and how God blessed us with the property we're always excited to share that too! Come and enjoy!
Cabin rental 2 night minimum
$100 nightly. Must sign a waiver that we are NOT responsible for any personal injuries or damages.
We ask for a $150 deposit collected by host.
Located at Toledobend on 4 acres ...
Close to the water. 5 Minutes from Big Bass Marina/Resturant and Buckeye landing. Dollar General store about 10 minutes. Cypress bend Golf course is about 20 minutes. Along, with a Wal-Mart about 30 minutes, and Natchitoches, La is 55 minutes from our location which is known as the oldest town in Louisiana and known for its annual Christmas festival, " the City of Lights". It's also where they filmed the movie, "Steel Magnolias."
Also, on south end of the lake sits the Toledo Bend Dam. The Reservoir is owned by the Sabine River authorities of Texas and Louisiana.
Due to the peaceful setting we prefer No drinking, and No smoking, vaping, or pets permitted due to our guest with allergies.
