Holiday flat nature and art in the Königspark Dresden (almost) like in a sanatorium. The Königspark and the house with our flat are located in the middle of the Wachwitzer Höhenpark, a magnificent beech forest. Above the rooftops of Dresden, you have an unrivalled view of the city of Dresden, the Ore Mountains, Saxon Switzerland, the Czech Republic and, of course, the River Elbe from the flat and the spacious balcony. A rhododendron park lies at your feet and the vineyard is being replanted. The house is a listed building. You have an unobstructed, unique view and nature grows almost up to your balcony, so to speak. The communal garden is planted with more than 120-year-old rhododendrons (which are also listed). Protected oak and beech trees surround the house. The Wachwitzer Höhenpark is a marvellous, protected beech forest that invites you to hike and offers numerous spectacular views of the Elbe landscape. There is a children's playground next to the house. The access road is for residents only, so it is very quiet.

The four extremely diverse landscapes that surround Dresden are all within a short distance of each other and invite you to visit and adventure: Saxon Switzerland with its unique rocky landscape (10 km), the Ore Mountains with hiking and skiing areas up to 1000m altitude (20km), the Meissen wine region (30 km), the Moritzburg Lake District (20 km), Lusatia (25 km). The flat is located between Pillnitz Castle and the centre of Dresden. You can go hiking on the painter-poet-musician trail right outside the front door. You can rent the flat as a 97sqm (with one bedroom), 109sqm (with two bedrooms) or 135sqm flat (with 3 bedrooms). Depending on your needs. The recently completed house (converted from a sanatorium to a residential building) meets the most modern requirements. You will not only be surrounded by nature, but also by over 60 works of art from the 17th - 20th centuries. You are very close to Richard Wagner's Lohengrinhaus, directly on the spot where the famous painter Ludwig Richter often worked, lies this former Weidner sanatorium. The house is a listed building. You will feel like you are in a sanatorium. Many famous actors and artists appreciated this place for relaxation and as a quiet place to work. The flat is barrier-free. There is also a lift. The flat can only be rented for 4 nights or more and must be booked at least two days before arrival.
