About this house rental
Wake up surrounded by fragrant wild Mediterranean hillside and nature. This comfortable villa sits in serene Pioppi, which—along with its parent village Pollica—was just named Best Beach in Italy 2026 by the Italian Touring Club and Legambiente.
You're in the perfect spot: village center and restaurants are a 4-minute walk away, yet you're completely removed from summer crowds. Hike straight from our garden into the protected Cilento National Park. Swim, explore, cook—then retreat to your own private home.
The Villa:
A full-sized home with everything you need: fully equipped kitchen (perfect for foodies), living room with piano, two bedrooms, and outdoor spaces that feel like your own Mediterranean retreat. We provide yoga mats, beach gear, and table games for lazy afternoons. Dogs are welcome to run freely in our fenced garden.
Your Space Includes:
Main floor with private entrance
Outdoor shower for post-beach rinsing
Front patio with pergola and dining table for 6
Wooden sun deck with two loungers and umbrella
Balconies upstairs (front and rear)
Parking for 2 cars (a huge advantage—parking in town is extremely limited)
Direct access to hiking trails behind the villa
Your Hosts:
Gerry and Irina, originally from New York, occasionally use a separate downstairs studio. They love sharing insider knowledge about Pioppi's best food shops, local restaurants, and hidden spots in the region and are available to answer any questions you may have during your stay, or to help you plan local activities.
Please Note:
The villa sits on a short hill with a stone-paved driveway. Those with mobility challenges or small children in strollers may find it easier to drive down to the village rather than walking from the house. For infants using a carry sling is a perfect way to walk to the beach and town.
