About this cottage rental
The 6-bedroom modern property features comfy seating areas with Smart TV's & DVD players overlooking private gardens. The kitchen areas are well-equipped and include a cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave in each property. Cupboards and drawers are stocked with cutlery, crockery glasses pans and oven trays. There is also a toaster, Tassimo coffee machine and cafetiere and tea towels and oven gloves are provided. Bed linen and towels are also provided alongside an eco-friendly housekeeping starter box and welcome hamper. Each property has a family bathroom and an en-suite bathroom. Bedrooms include 2 king sized double - bedded rooms & 4 twin bedded rooms, two with zip and link beds.

Outside you'll find a private patio and fenced garden with a gate and direct access to the shared gardens and play areas. Each patio is equipped with either a gas fired barbecue or a charcoal barbecue and garden furniture ideal for informal al fresco dining. The gardens are east facing and an ideal spot for a sundowner, as the sun sets at the end of a busy day exploring the Norfolk coast.

We stayed as a group of 14 (including two infants) for a long weekend. Starting with the positives, the onsite facilities were fantastic and well enjoyed by all, particularly the pool, play area and tennis courts. The set up of the cottage theoretically worked well for our group (although not quite enough seating to all eat together) and the setting is beautiful. It’s in easy reach of the North Norfolk coast.
Unfortunately we did have an issue with our property. Some wood in the courtyard had been treated prior to our stay and caused significant fumes in the living space and outside area for the first couple of days. The owners did try to deal with it by sealing the wood but unfortunately the fumes remained strong and we were unable to use the larger kitchen/living area or the courtyard with the hot tub and apart from on our last night when the fumes had lifted. This had a significant impact on our stay and we would have appreciated the owners checking in on us after it was reported.
