Stayed for 9 days with mixed agenda of holidays and working remotely. We'll definitely will come back & stay here again!
Here's what I feel while staying at Casa Luna:
+ Well designed place, both interior and exterior ✨️
+ Facilities & location are worth the price! 12 mins walk to BTS Ratchathewi (green line) you can use BTS to go to Siam, Ari, Asok, Chatuchak, etc. Only 6 mins drive to ARL Phaya Thai (go to/from BKK Airport), and 1 min walk to nearest bus stop.
+ There are at least 4 nearest 7-Eleven (7-10 mins walk), many food stalls in the area, near Banthat Thong area, and you can find halal food in the next alley.
+ The area is safe (I often come back at midnight and walk around in the afternoon) and did not affected by recent Bangkok's flood. Casa Luna is also easily tag in the maps (google maps, grab maps, and bolt).
+ *** and all the staffs gives us a very warm welcome and take great care of us while staying there
+ Introduction to the place, rules, and the areas around it are very detailed. The house rules are basic SEA's house rules btw, so we all can stay comfortably, please follow it yess
+ The place is very clean! The bedding is comfortable. AC, smart TV, and hot water are working well. The toilet have bidet, yeay!
+ In the room we got hairdryer, soap (nice smell) & shampoo, towels (bath & face), mini refrigerator, water heater, 2 water bottles a day, tea, and instant coffee. Electric socket is also available in many places.
+ We also can asked for recommendation (shopping, local foods, markets, activities, etc.)
+ They provide breakfast everyday from 7 AM to 9.30 AM. Coffee, tea, milo, fruits, yogurt, bread, cereal + milk, main dish (cycled every day, like noodles, spaghetti, eggs, sausage, etc.), banana bread (lovely!), patongko with pandan/kaya jam (homemade)
+ Wifi is fast and reliable and router (access point) are everywhere
+ Other facilities: coin-operated washing & drying machine (they also have a machine to exchange your cash to 10 THB coins), in-house self-service 'mini-mart' (you can buy detergent and other things here); 1 car parking area; luggage storage room; shared kitchen (with microwave, water heater, bread toaster, shared refiregator (we can get ice!), and coffee grinder) available to use until 8 PM. The utensils and tableware also completed and can be used; shared toilet (it's clean), dining area, sitting area (that I usually used for working), and living room.
+ No smoking, vaping, and using e-ciggarates in the room and anywhere inside the house, but you can smoke in designated areas outside the house
+ You can find and read a lot of books in the living room (maybe learn basic Thai language, Thai architecture, and Thai popular destination)
+ I'll say it again: *** and all the staffs are the best 💯 No issue communicating your needs with them (*** also speaking English fluently. I learned a bit Thai & somehow learn making coffee with rockpresso & mokapot with her too 😄)
Side note:
- This also noted in the description of the hotel/rooms: there are no lift/elevator, you need to bring your suitcase upstairs, but they only have 3 floors (and my room is on 2nd floor) and not that steep steps, so it's all good having a little exercise 💪
- If you want to order food or beverages from Grab, you can found tasty local foods & famous cafe nearby (I've ordered delicious pad krapao and Factory Cofee - skip the queuing process)
- The area is within the construction site for upcoming MRT line, but you still can walk around safely (follow the guide along the way)
Overall it is a very lovely experience staying at Casa Luna, we'll come back again!
