Communication with host was very easy. The interior of the house was very clean. Although we did not use stove and oven, all necessary dishes, pots and cutlery were there. The rental included three bedrooms, living room, bathroom and kitchen. Access to the house via lock code was simple, there was a parking space, and shopping options (Walmart) were close by. For those without a car, 3 frequent bus lines offer direct and fast connections to the subway terminal in Longueuil and to the Montreal subway network.

No towels were provided. There were only mattress covers on the beds. There were no cover sheets, only some thin decorative coverlets. There was quite a bit of used food in the fridge. Some further attention to these issues would make the bungalow an excellent value. Matching sets of mattress covers, sheets and pillow cases, and a few towels for the bathroom, could probably be had at Walmart for $200 or less. For an equally small expense, the host should install smoke and CO2 alarms. These suggestions are offered as friendly advice to a host who says he is just beginning to put the house on the rental market.
