Plaza Caribe 8 Beach Bliss

The location is terrific-a 10/10. We were just across the street from the ocean and we were within walking distance of all the restaurants. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning was superb. The king size bed was very comfortable. The pool and it's privacy were fantastic and were much appreciated. Having a full size refrigerator, a microwave and an oven were also very nice touches. The ap and information were also very useful.

The shower did not produce warm water and its water pressure was less than the bathroom sink-it was almost unusable. The outside gate was locked and if you are checking in you cannot get access to the key which is on the lockbox on the door of your unit, inside the facility. Since there are no caretakers onsite, this was a big issue. The most concerning thing was that I kept getting charged extra by the facility (twice) for no reason, even after paying down to a zero balance (twice). When there is a balance on your account, you cannot access the security code for your room, so that was very annoying. Make sure and check your account, even after you pay. To their credit, they removed the extra charges when I contacted them.
