8 / 10Excellent·Oct 2026
Ricky was a great host who helped me in many different ways during my stay, always friendly, flexible and responsive. Kitchen is well equipped and location close to the malecón in Iquitos, and a big supermarket.
The only thing was that breakfast was sometimes a little late, which might be challenging if you are on a strict timeline, but communication with Ricky will always ensure that a solution can be found.

It was simple but but exactly what you need from a hostal, good price, great location, has all the basics you need, and most importantly Ricky is the best guy in the whole of Iquitos. Could not have tried more to help, anything you need, great guy. Thats what makes staying here make sense

Ricky is the friendliest host I’ve met across all my travels. He’s always accessible and is committed to ensuring all your needs are met, his staff are similarly excellent. The hostel is very clean and comfortable. It’s located centrally, with a market next door. I was so satisfied with my stay that I booked again after my Amazon trip.
