Peaceful hilltop retreat above Laško - Tovsto4

Beautiful home, cozy but modernly equipped, temperate stayed very cool (even on hot days), picturesque surroundings.

The renovation of this old house was done very thoughtfully, preserving some of the original features while making the space feel useful, simple, clean and authentic at the same time. The house is tucked away from the public, at the end of a private track through a small woodland. The last 100 metres of the road are a little steep, but we had no problems getting up by car. Despite feeling wonderfully secluded and away from the buzz of city life, it is still only a few minutes of short drive to restaurants, shops and other amenities in the centre of Laško. Rimske Toplice are also just a short drive away. For us, one of the biggest attractions was having nature right on the doorstep, with plenty of opportunities for good walks - especially as we were travelling with our dog. Sebastian, the host, was fantastic. He met us in town and guided us up to the house, and also gave us some great tips about the local area. We all loved staying here and would happily come back!
