Comfy Apartment

We stayed as a group of seven for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. It was just as advertised in the pictures (even better), clean and spacious! It was great having so many rooms and as many bathrooms, which meant we could all have our own space and get ready at the same time. The large dining room was also a big plus, as it gave everyone plenty of space to sit together. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances, glasses, knives and everything else we needed for a larger group. Another big plus was the AC in every bedroom, as well as in the living room. This was especially appreciated since Lisbon gets very hot in the summer, and everyone could choose their preferred temperature. The location was also good. It’s not right in the city centre, but the area has lots of life and walking was very manageable for our group. When we didn’t feel like walking, a Bolt was cheap and could easily drop us off right in front of the door. We also contacted Duarte once during our stay about something small we couldn’t figure out. He responded immediately, even though it was late at night, and sent someone over the next morning to help us. It was great to have such a hands-on and responsive host. There are a couple of flights of stairs up to the second floor, which wasn’t a problem for us but is worth keeping in mind. The apartment is also on a street corner and above the metro, so there can be some noise from passing cars and the metro. Some of us barely noticed it, while the lighter sleepers in our group did. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but earplugs may be useful if you’re a really light sleeper. Overall, we had a great stay in and would definitely recommend the apartment for larger groups!
