Casa Ferdinanda

Het is een heel fijn appartement om hier te verblijven, de eigenaren Carla en zoon Frederico die niet aanwezig was op dat moment. Carla spreekt geen Engels en wij geen Italiaans maar ze deed erg haar best om het te vertalen met haar telefoon (geweldig!!!)

We have stayed in apartments all over Italy and the rest of Europe and our stay at Casa Ferdinanda is at the top of the list of our favorites. Attention to detail was evident throughout the apartment. Everything about the experience was wonderful, from the cleanliness and comfort of the apartment, to the generous gifts of local products left by our hostess, and of course the spectacular view of the valley.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn't love about our stay at Casa Ferdinanda!

What a view of Valdichiana! Carla and Federico were very welcoming hosts. The gestures for guests, like the wine and local pastry, were a nice touch—we travel often and don't see that very usually. The apartment is cozy, comfortable, and has a nice retro feel. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed. Parking wasn't an issue—we parked right in front of borgo, which is just a short walk down the main street. Monteleone is a quiet, beautifully located town, making it a great base for exploring western Umbria and Lake Trasimeno. We wish our stay could have been longer! It's hard to notice any downsides with a view like that!
