The owner of the cabin is delightful and spells our name correctly. The cabin is simple, self sufficiency is the name of the game here. I loved being nestled among the trees with a view out toward a pond framed by two hillsides that were blanketed by the autumn reds, oranges and yellows. It was quiet and serene, and cozy with an extremely efficient wood stove. Not sure when, but at some point I'll come back.

Everything was perfect...
The cabin is so nice, small, cozy, warm and comfortable.
I loved the bed, the fireplace and the heating stove.
It was quiet, peaceful, and there was no phone reception.
I will come back
Maybe curtains.

I liked the rustic feel to the cabin and adjacent area. Maybe an extra blanket would be nice to fend off the cold when the temps dip into the 50’s on those late summer night. If I had more firewood I would have used the indoor woodstove.

The location was wonderful.
A coal shuttle or bucket to remove the ashes from the stove would have been useful.
