Staycation in Oversized 1 Bdrm~Jenkintown, PA

The apartment was spectacular. We arrived after dark so it was a bit challenging to know where we were going for the first time, but the instructions made perfect sense. it was a great place for us to rest and relax after a 9 hour drive from North Carolina on the first night, and time with our grandsons and family the subsequent nights. There was very little street noise during the evening and night, and the typical morning commotion you would expect. The apartment was an older building that had been updated. Brand new kitchen with granite counter tops, Oak flooring throughout. it creaked, but didn't bother us. cant speak for anyone that may have been below us. The location was perfect to where our son lives in Wyndmoor. A+.

Our last night there I was made aware of what I assume was an apartment above us. We hadn't heard anything in our previous nights, but there was quite a bit of walking I heard after going to bed. It eventually subsided enough for me to go to sleep and it wouldn't keep us from staying there again. There was a $100 cleaning fee which I think is a bit much for a bit of trash we left in kitchen can, used towels and bed linens. I would be more inclined to agree with maybe $50.00 for no more than what we "dirtied" up the place, or refund half of the $100 upon inspection.

This is a very comfortable apartment. They had everything you would need, doing your stay.Location is good.
