About this villa rental
Villa Maria O sits commandingly in the hill above Glossa town. Its location combines with some of the best views on the island. Long, sunny afternoons, sunsets beyond compare and the pristine nature setting make this an exquisite spot.
Villa has large balconies and large verandas. It’s surrounded by olive trees, almond trees and oak trees.
The main entrance leads to a spacious livingroom, comfortably furnished with a traditional corner fireplace. The large windows face out to excellent view, the swimming pool and the forest. Villa is well appointed throughout and fully air conditioned. On the ground floor there is the living room, fully equipped kitchen and 1 WC/shower with washing machine. On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms with traditional visible roofs all with wooden balconies and excellent view. There is also a modern spacious WC with full sized Jacuzzi bath.
Villa Maria O is the perfect place for relaxation far from the city noise. The house is also perfect for children because it has space for playing. Villa Maria O is a great choice for those who want a secluded location in pristine surroundings with unbeatable views. It's location near Glossa and nearby beaches makes it convenient for all.

Came for an 8 day stay in early June. Two teen girls 18 and 14 yrs, their mother and us grandparents. The property is well taken care of and was very clean. The view alone will bring you back. Just breathtaking! The pool was refreshing and grounds were beautiful. The place looked better than the pictures! Kitchen was well equipped. Air conditioning worked wonderfully.The sunset from the upstairs balcony is glorious! There was a cat that welcomed us home every day! We spent mornings and evenings on the spacious patio eating and talking about our day. Went to a different beach everyday and it was easy finding your way around the island. You must rent a car because you are away from the cities and it’s steep going anywhere, but driving on the island is relatively easy. The road to the house is steep but you get used to driving it. Bathrooms could use electrical sockets(we had 4 females). And it would have been good to have mirrors on the wall in the twin bedroom and middle bedroom. Bed mattresses were very hard and twin beds you could feel the bed springs. This may not matter as much for a few nights stay, or if you have younger kids, but we stayed 8 nights. There is a wonderful bakery between Maria O and the outskirts of Glossa by the small supermarket. We ate there twice and stopped by for sweets too! And there are restaurants at the port that are wonderful. Good memories were made here and we will remember Skopelos most fondly! Thank you!

We had a wonderful holiday at the villa. It was all we could have wished for and more. Quiet, surrounded by nature and with the most magnificent views. The hosts are lovely and have thought of everything. We cannot recommend it enough!

This villa was in the ideal location, so peaceful up in hills above Glossa but only a 5 minute drive away from the village.The scenery around the villa was very spectacular with plenty of trees, shrubs, and flowers in the garden providing plenty of shade. The view down to the port was amazing. The swimming pool was kept immaculately clean . The villa was clean and adequately furnished. We would not hesitate to return and we thoroughly recommend this villa.
