The professionally landscaped grounds slope down to a small sandy beach, an elevated deck on the lakeshore, and a deepwater dock with stunning views of the lake and Megquier Island. You'll feel worlds away, yet you'll also be an easy drive from Sebago Lake, Portland, the Jetport, and nearby golf courses and ski areas.
Stepping inside, you'll find that the lake is always present - from the expansive primary suite to the living room, dining room, and kitchen with their banks of windows and glass doors. We loved the location; very quiet and relaxing. The only things we struggled with was lack of heat on the bottom floor and vanity lights not working in one bathroom. Otherwise, a wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful spacious home! We enjoyed the kayaking, the loons, spotted a bald eagle on our kayak. The fire pit was beautiful as was the dock. plenty of outdoor space for seating, including the screened in porch. The property management team was very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to returning!

Great location, lots of space in the home. Kitchen stock was acceptable, not outstanding. Plenty of towels. Garage is pretty smelly so we didn't use it. Local contact was very helpful when we had a couple questions. Thompson Lake has lots of rocks - be wary if you're boating.

We really enjoyed the location and the views — the property itself is beautiful, and the house was spacious enough for our group of 9 to stay comfortably without feeling crowded.That said, the cleanliness and overall upkeep of the home are what ultimately brought the rating down for us. The bathrooms did not feel thoroughly cleaned upon arrival, and we also noticed a lack of towels and sheets available for a house accommodating a larger group. The cookware and kitchen items were also quite outdated, which made cooking during our stay more difficult than expected.We additionally experienced issues with the hot tub not working and found the responsiveness from the property management team used by the host to be slower than expected when we reported it. The fireplace remote also barely worked because the batteries were dead, and there were no replacement batteries available in the house.We also felt the property could benefit from clearer instructions regarding the home amenities and better stocking of basic household items for guests.Overall, the home has a lot of potential because of its size, location, and views, but improvements in cleanliness, maintenance responsiveness, and guest accommodations would make for a much better experience.
