Built ~1935 for a local bank manager and noted in the National Register of Historic Places, this lovingly restored Colonial Revival showcases Durham history at its finest. The signature stone walls — quarried from the same Duke stone quarry that built the university — tell the story. Inside: 3 beds, 2.5 baths, primary suite, restored hardwood floors, original windows, and first-floor laundry. Unwind on the screen porch overlooking an expansive treed lot. History never felt so comfortable.

The space
Built ~1935 for a local bank manager and noted in the National Register of Historic Places, this lovingly restored Colonial Revival showcases Durham history at its finest — its signature stone walls reminiscent of the iconic Duke University campus just minutes away. Inside: a modern eat-in kitchen with full pantry, coffee station & first-floor laundry, gas fireplace, screened porch, and 2.5 baths. Upstairs: 2 guest rooms, hall bath, and a primary suite with walk-in shower. History never felt so comfortable.

Guest access
The whole home is yours — both floors, the screened porch, and the expansive treed lot. The basement is off-limits for safety reasons.

Other things to note
This home sits in the East Durham Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places — a true piece of Durham's story. Street parking is available out front. Please note security cameras are active on the front and rear exterior and front doorbell. The basement is off-limits for host use as storage. Quiet hours observed after 10pm.

This historic home is not ADA compliant. The primary living areas and bedrooms are accessed via stairs, and the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. Guests with mobility considerations should take this into account when booking.
