This fully renovated old house has retained the authenticity of the local stone and woodwork while incorporating a skillful blend of designer and contemporary furnishings. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, yet only 100 meters from the village square of Sainte-Marie. There, you'll find several restaurants and shops, as well as a covered market. Once the tall gate is partially opened, the small garden has been completely redesigned in a Zen-inspired Japanese style, with a relaxed area for enjoying drinks with your feet in the sand, and a barbecue area. The house comprises, on the first floor, a beautiful open-plan living space with a fully equipped designer kitchen and a dining area for six. Beyond, the living room, decorated in cozy shades of blue, features a wood-burning stove for autumn evenings. This level also offers a bedroom with a queen-size bed and a private polished concrete shower room. A toilet and closet in the entrance hall complete the facilities. From here, an antique wooden staircase leads to the upper floor. There, original parquet floors, stone walls, and carefully selected antique objects create a landing furnished as an office and reading nook. To the left, a large bedroom with two single beds is ideal for children. Opposite, another large bedroom with sage green painted wood paneling and a queen-size bed. Between the two, a shower room and a toilet. For relaxation, there is a smart speaker, books for adults and children, and board games. The nearest beach is about 800 meters from the house. For your convenience, you can load and unload your car in front of the house, but you will need to park in one of the public parking lots in the village. Bicycles, however, can be parked in the garden. For rentals of 7 nights or more, linens (sheets and towels) are provided. For shorter rentals, you can bring your own linens, or I offer them for €40 per night for queen-size beds and €20 per single bed.
