Perched right on the seafront with its long garden running all the way down to the beach, East Vows is a modern detached cottage in a truly spectacular coastal spot. Upgraded externally and refreshed inside in 2021, it’s a bright, welcoming base with jaw-dropping sea views from dawn to dusk, off-street parking, Wi-Fi and pet-friendly stays – ideal for families, couples, dog walkers and golfers looking to make the most of the East Neuk shoreline.
The main living spaces are cleverly arranged to soak up those views. Upstairs, a recently redecorated living/dining room features a large picture window that frames the beach and sea, contemporary back-lit bookcase storage, a cosy fireplace with gas coal fire, TV, DVD player and a dining table for six – perfect for relaxed evenings after a day exploring the coast. On the ground floor, the contemporary kitchen/dining space also enjoys a wide picture window to the water, with modern fitted units, contrasting worktops and everything you need for easy self-catering, including electric cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee machine.
Sleeping up to five guests, East Vows offers flexible accommodation for families or sharing friends. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and fitted storage, while the second bedroom is set up with adult-sized bunk beds plus an additional single bed. A fully tiled contemporary bathroom with shower over the bath, WC and wash hand basin keeps things simple and fresh.
Outside is where East Vows really comes into its own. From the front of the cottage, a long garden stretches down towards the seafront, with a patio and outdoor furniture so you can sit out with morning coffee, watch the tide change, or enjoy an evening drink with the sound of the waves just beyond. Immediately in front of the garden gate there’s off-street parking for two cars, making arrivals and days out straightforward. From here, you’re perfectly placed for beach walks, sea swims, local pubs and days exploring St Andrews and the wider East Neuk – all with local support from our St Andrews-based team and easy, direct booking.
