If you’re looking for a beach vacation that also offers hiking and cultural attractions, then choose the Pyrénées-Orientales—and Argelès-sur-Mer in particular.
In fact, Argelès Beach is the last beach before the Pyrenees. So you can enjoy swimming and water sports, and to the south, the Albères Mountains, which rise to 1,300 meters, and to the west, the Canigou massif.
There’s something for everyone, with the added bonus of Romanesque churches and Vauban forts.
I’m offering an apartment on the first floor of a villa located 250 meters from the beach. It’s 60 square meters with a large 30-square-meter terrace facing west, south, and east. This apartment is located in a quiet area of Argelès, on Avenue des Mimosas near Boulevard du Canigou.

Living room: with a window facing west, a large picture window (with sliding glass panels for maximum openness) opening south onto the terrace, and the front door.
