Le Petit Canada - Lakeside house - Morvan

Welcome home, to Little Canada!

Our house is located in the heart of the Morvan Regional Park. Nestled on the shores of Lake Chaumeçon, it is surrounded by forests as far as the eye can see and countless hiking trails, starting with the GR® de Pays Tour du Morvan which runs along it.

It has been designed as a comfortable refuge to meet and share, with family or friends, moments to cook, read, play sports or simply enjoy the calm and recharge your batteries.

The house is about 100m2. It comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults, with 3 independent bedrooms, each with its own bathroom to preserve the privacy and independence of each one.

We also provide a cot (travel cot) as well as a convertible armchair, ideal for a child.

The living room is organized around an open kitchen and a large farmhouse table, designed to share long dinners that go on forever, summer and winter, between glasses that fill up and discussions that last. It opens onto a warm living room, ideal for meeting at the end of the day (a wood stove will soon reinforce this atmosphere on colder days).

The kitchen is fully equipped, with utensils, crockery and antique pieces for easy cooking and entertaining, just like at home.

Upstairs, in the office (also games room) you will find board games, books and some children's toys are available so that everyone can find their own rhythm, between shared moments and quieter moments.

Outside, the garden is oriented for lunch in the sun at lunchtime, extending the aperitif or even going up a few meters by the fire (brazier) at the end of the evening, facing the lake, when the light dims and calm settles in.

We also provide you with some maps, guides and itineraries to explore the surroundings, on foot, by bike or in the water.

Finally, the house is on the edge of Lake Chaumeçon but is also a 25min drive from Lake Settons, Lake Pannecière and Lake Crescent.
