Escape to Gardeners Cottage for a romantic countryside retreat, where historic charm, stylish comfort, and beautiful surroundings come together in the heart of North Yorkshire. think private wood fired hot tub and private walled garden.. All on the Ground Floor:

Kitchen/dining room: Induction Hob, Electric Oven, Fridge, Dishwasher
Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included, remainder available locally. Front garden with sitting-out area. Grounds with sitting-out area. Hot tub for 2 (private). Children’s play area (shared with other properties on-site). Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps in the grounds.. All on one level and with underfloor heating throughout, the cottage is perfectly suited for a romantic getaway. The spacious living room is warm and inviting, centred around a cosy wood burner and filled with natural light from large windows. The open-plan kitchen and dining area is well equipped for relaxed meals, with the added convenience of a boot and utility room—ideal after a day exploring the outdoors.
The bedroom is a tranquil haven, beautifully presented with a high vaulted ceiling and exposed beams, creating a sense of space and calm. A stylish walk-in shower room completes the accommodation, offering a refreshing start or end to each day.
Great Ayton itself is a charming and well-served village, offering a selection of independent shops, cosy pubs, cafés, and restaurants. It is also famously known as the childhood home of Captain James Cook, with attractions such as the Captain Cook Schoolroom Museum and a monument to Cook located nearby.
