About this house rental
Our vacation home in St. Kathrein am Offenegg can accommodate up to 7 people. This quaint little cottage is situated in a secluded location near a forest and a stream. This means you can enjoy the refreshing coolness of the fresh alpine air, especially on hot summer days.
The town center of St. Kathrein am Offenegg, with its restaurants, shops, and parish church, is about 1 kilometer away.
Several beautiful hiking trails start right next to the vacation home and in the immediate vicinity, such as the Vogelbeer Panorama Trail, the Bear Loop to the Brandlucken, or the hike to the Patscha Summit. We also recommend a leisurely bike ride in St. Kathrein or the surrounding area.
Nearby is the Kathreiner Alpaca Farm, which features a large alpaca enclosure where you can pet the animals. There’s also a farm store here where you can buy regional products. Many other attractions and direct-sales vendors are located in St. Kathrein am Offenegg and in the Almenland Nature Park.
In winter, our small but charming ski areas and our three cross-country ski trails invite you to enjoy winter fun. Away from the slopes, you can explore winter hiking trails, go on snowshoe tours, try out toboggan runs, or take a horse-drawn sleigh ride.
Schirgi Vacation Home:
Our vacation home can accommodate up to 7 people. The approximately 80 m² cottage features two rooms on the upper floor—one of which is a dormitory-style room—and a large entryway with an additional sofa bed that sleeps up to 2 people.
On the first floor, you’ll find a spacious, brand-new kitchen with a large dining area. The vacation home is heated by a pellet stove. Below that is the bathroom with a toilet.
The living and dining area leads directly out to the walk-out terrace with a large garden area. There is also a carport for parking one car. The location is very quiet and perfect for relaxing. Wi-Fi is available.
On-site fees: • Please contact us 20 minutes in advance so we can arrange for key pickup on-site at the vacation home. • Dogs are allowed in our vacation home. • Children up to 15 years old stay free of charge in the vacation home. • I can provide a crib for small children
Check-in is from 2:00 PM to 4:00, and check-out is from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
