The Space:
Casal Adeodato is an apartment that gets the balance right: stylish enough to feel special, comfortable enough to feel like home.
The living area is generous and well thought-out. At its centre, a large L-shaped sofa anchors the space — positioned in front of a wide smart TV and a quality sound system, making it just as good for a relaxed evening in as it is for a film night. Behind it, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'd need, from morning coffee to a proper dinner, with a dining table where you can sit down and take your time.
The bedroom is a genuinely restful space — airy, with soft blue walls that do exactly what they're supposed to do, and a large wardrobe that lets you unpack properly and settle in. The bathroom is modern and recently renovated, with a beautiful walk-in shower that makes starting the day feel easy.
Outside, the Maggiolina neighbourhood sets the tone: tree-lined streets, local cafés, a real sense of community. Quiet enough to sleep well, connected enough to be anywhere in Milan in minutes.
The Neighborhood:
Maggiolina is one of Milan's most beloved yet least-touristed neighbourhoods — a quiet, tree-lined enclave that feels like a village, but sits just minutes from the city's main business and transport hubs. It's where Milanese families have chosen to live for generations, and it shows: real bakeries, neighbourhood trattorie, locals walking their dogs. No tourist crowds, no noise.
The area has a quietly fascinating identity. The streets of the nearby Villaggio dei Giornalisti — named after the writers and editors who lived here in the early 1900s — are lined with individual garden villas, each in a different architectural style. Via Lepanto is home to the iconic case igloo, circular concrete homes built in the 1940s and still inhabited today. And the 15th-century Villa Mirabello, with its courtyard and ancient frescoes, is a short stroll away.
For food and daily life, the neighbourhood delivers everything you need: the legendary Pasticceria Martesana for breakfast, a Tigros supermarket around the corner, and several classic Milanese trattorie within walking distance. The Naviglio della Martesana canal path — perfect for a morning run or an evening walk — begins just steps from the apartment.
Whether you're in Milan for work or for pleasure, staying in Maggiolina means experiencing the city as a local — calm, connected, and authentically Milanese.
Getting Around:
The apartment is perfectly connected to the rest of Milan. Milano Centrale is just 15 minutes away — two stops on Metro M3 (Yellow line, exit Sondrio). From Malpensa, the Malpensa Express drops you at Centrale in about 50 minutes; from Linate, a taxi gets you here in around 20. Tram 1 stops at Piazza Carbonari, a 5-minute walk from the front door.
