About this house rental
The cottage is furnished with recycled finds that have been given new life. The heart of the house has large windows facing south and west, so the sunlight always streams in and spreads warmth throughout the room. The colors are kept in light pastels with fine details, many of them with a personal story behind them. In the charming carpentry kitchen, every nook and cranny has been utilized to accommodate all the necessities. Opposite the kitchen, you'll find an atmospheric alcove that's perfect for chatting, pre-dinner drinks or an extra sleeping space where you can close the curtains and enjoy some privacy. The house's rooms are also packed with pastel colors and the children's room is equipped with a three-story bunk bed where the kids can play for hours.
On the large, covered terrace, there's always somewhere to sit in the shade and watch the sun go down. Here you'll find a barbecue and fire pit as well as garden furniture that invites you to dine and enjoy long evenings in good company with good food. On the beautiful 1000 square meter plot, fruit trees, shrubs and flowers burst forth across the seasons, and if you need a rest or want to immerse yourself in a good book, you can do so in the garden hammock. If you arrive early, you might even spot a fallow deer or hare grazing peacefully in the garden. Should you fancy a game of croquet or two, you'll find outdoor games in the house's shed. A time capsule without equal that is definitely worth a visit.
On both sides of the house you'll find the sea just 200 meters away, where there are plenty of opportunities for various water activities, and if you bring your walking shoes you can walk out to the tip of Langø. Alternatively, Fyns Hoved is a short drive from the house, where you can enjoy nature and views of the sea. Hindsholm has many small local farm shops and roadside stalls, including the local smokehouse, pick your own seasonal fruit and vegetables and locally produced juices. The larger town of Kerteminde is also worth a visit, and in Mesinge you'll find the local grocery store.
