About this house rental

The fine whitewashed cottage on the edge of the forest was built in 1919 and is one of the cottages that helped found the entire cottage area in Rørvig. The house exudes a special history, beautiful old details and warmth. The family restored it themselves, and with zeal and care, the atmosphere has remained intact. In the small house there is also a picture of a young Queen Margrethe Margrethe receiving lessons in the garden. Her drawing teacher lived in the house for a while, so the drawing lessons could take place in the garden.

Inside, it's bright and cozy, and the lovely mullioned windows let nature in all the way to the breakfast table. Here you can enjoy your coffee, homemade buns and each other with a view of all the greenery. It is decorated with a calm and stylishness that allows you to slow down. In winter you can cozy up by the wood-burning stove, and in summer you can open all the windows and doors and let the scent of spruce, grass and nature waft in. There are three separate bedrooms and a large room on the first floor with a vaulted ceiling and a fantastic skylight.

The lovely grounds offer plenty of space for play and relaxation, and you're close to both forest and water. The garden has a fairytale setting down to the plantation and has many little nooks and crannies to pass the time in.
