Friederike and Helmut's Ostfriesenhaus is located in the middle of fields and meadows, within walking distance of the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea Natural Heritage Site. A haven of peace that invites you to unwind. The twittering of birds, the call of oystercatchers, grazing sheep and the sound of the sea are your daily companions here.
Enter through the old barn door into the hallway, which is up to six meters high, and be enveloped by natural materials such as linen, wool and wood to create a warm, homely feeling. In the spacious bedroom with a double bed, a small writing corner with a view of the dyke provides a place of inspiration. Adjacent is one of the two bathrooms. The second one even has a bathtub with a view of an old apple tree.
The focal point of the house is the large, open kitchen with living area and an opening to the dining room. Read a good book on the corner sofa in front of the wood-burning stove or enjoy a cup of East Frisian tea in the matching, typical East Frisian "Kahla" cup for a real coastal atmosphere. You have a fantastic view of the garden through the white lattice windows.
Speaking of the garden: this enchanted place between old trees and beautiful flower beds not only offers you a sun terrace, a small seating area with a view of the house, but also a place with a view of the sunset and the dyke. The barbecue and a tree swing for daydreaming complete the beautiful places at this house.
