About this house rental
Inside, you’ll find wide, sanded pine floors and soft yellow wall panels throughout the house. The rooms flow into one another through arched doors with leaded glass, and large paper lamps hang overhead. The heart of the house is the living room with its bay window facing the garden, featuring large windows and two leather armchairs. The dining area is located in the old gable room with high whitewashed walls and terracotta tiles—here you sit amidst beams and woodwork. Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms under sloped ceilings.
The garden is large and open with a lawn all around, a greenhouse, fruit trees, and a small stone path leading down to the terrace. The terrace gets sun all day—in the morning at one end, in the afternoon in the bay window, and the evening sun out in the garden, where there’s room for a barbecue and a large group of people. At the back of the property stands a small blue annex with its own terrace.
Tejn is located in the heart of the most beautiful part of Bornholm. The Helligdomsklipperne cliffs and Døndalen valley are within walking distance, and the Bornholm Art Museum is right above. Five minutes north, you’ll find Allinge, Sandvig, and Hammershus. To the south lies Gudhjem with its smokehouses and views from Bokulen, and there’s a boat to Christiansø. Svaneke, Østerlars Round Church, and Tejn Harbor with its fresh-caught fish are all worth the trip.
