Throughout the home you’ll find small details that nod to its nearly century-old history, while updated spaces provide all the conveniences you need for a relaxing stay. Inside, enjoy a cozy living room, fully equipped kitchen, and inviting bedrooms designed for rest after a day of exploring. The main living area has a queen sleeper sofa and a twin-size sleeper ottoman
for additional sleeping accommodations.
Step outside to take in peaceful views of the Imperial River, unwind on the patio, or stroll across the bridge to downtown Bonita Springs with its shops, dining, and entertainment. Pet-friendly and family-ready, this home offers the perfect balance of history, nature, and convenience—all in a welcoming cottage atmosphere.
Guests have full access to the entire cottage, including the living room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Outside, enjoy the yard, patio seating, dock, and direct access to the Imperial River launching a kayak. Parking is available on-site.
*There is a second home on the property that is still in the remodeling phase and not accessible. There may be work going on during the time of your stay but we will try to avoid that if at all possible and will let you know when work is scheduled to be done there.

We had the best time, It was perfect for families, pets and kids. They have a big backyard you can play. Beautiful kitchen and appliances. Host is very thoughtful. Make sure you have long sleeves, mosquitos might be problem if you wanna spend time outside. It was clean. Thank you.

We loved this place! The park right across the creek and the whole neighborhood had a friendly vibe, very walkable. The screened in porch at night listening to the creek sounds was peaceful and relaxing.

This home was beautiful inside and out! The timeless decor throughout the home was it feel so cozy. My daugther (adult) and I didn't want to leave! I was quite content hanging on the back porch, swinging while watching tv and enjoying the sounds of nature. The walking path behind the property was perfect for an evening stroll towards the main strip with shops, restaurants, and an ice cream place. Lots of options in the area of this home. We will rent here again for sure!

We loved Riverside Cottage. It was as promoted and more. Details that we loved include the following:- the ample porch swing on the lanai- the coffee and tea supplies - the outside spaces; in addition to the lanai, a small outside porch on the side of the cottage and a deck on the stream- the proximity to downtown, truly a short and lovely walk through the parkThanks to the host for thoughtful details and a generous, well-stocked cottage. We experienced significant travel delays/hassles and the owners were so accommodating to our needs. Would stay here and recommend this cottage to others in a heartbeat.
