About this villa rental
It is situated in the countryside of the municipality of Porto Cristo, away from the town centre and in an ideal setting for a relaxing break.
The house and the apartments are all on one level, making them easily accessible and comfortable. It comprises:
- A large house with 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, 2 full bathrooms with shower and bath, a living room and a porch leading out to the garden.
- An apartment adapted for guests with reduced mobility, featuring a twin bedroom and a full bathroom with shower
- An apartment with a double bedroom, a full bathroom and a living room offering views and access to the garden.
We would like to highlight the cable TV access in all three properties, which is highly valued by our guests.
The property does not have air conditioning, although it has been fitted with fans to ensure a comfortable stay during the warmer months.
Three of the bedrooms have ceiling fans and the remaining rooms have standing fans.
The garden is very spacious, with a large fenced-off swimming pool, ideal for children and surrounded by trees. It also features a designated barbecue area with a table fitted with a rotating centre piece, and an outdoor hot shower, perfect for use before and after a swim.
The setting is rural; you’ll hear birdsong, and many species native to the Balearic Islands pass through the garden. On new moon nights, you can enjoy a clear sky and stargazing.
SERVICIES
- Wi-Fi is available, along with bed linen and bath towels for all guests. Pool towels are also provided.
- A cot and high chair are available on request; we recommend booking these in advance to ensure availability.
- Free on-site parking is available, with space for several vehicles.
- To keep the property in top condition, a member of staff visits once a week to maintain the garden and swimming pool. You will always be given advance notice to minimise any disruption during your stay.
- We offer a number of additional services, available upon prior request and at an extra cost: grocery shopping, a private vegetarian/vegan chef, a private chef offering varied menus, paella cooked live, and a babysitting service (subject to availability). If you wish to make use of any of these services during your stay, we recommend booking them in advance to ensure availability.
OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS
- In accordance with Royal Decree 933/2021, in force since 2 December 2024, it is compulsory to complete the online registration for all guests and pay the tourist tax prior to arrival. This measure applies to all tourist accommodation in Menorca.
- The tourist tax is not included in the total price and costs €2.20 per person per night. It will be charged at the time of online registration via a link provided to the guest.
- Before arrival, and once registration and payment of the tax have been completed, we will send you all the information you need to access the villa, as well as useful details for your stay. Should you have any queries or require advice, we are available and will be delighted to assist you via our customer service team.
- Sa Carrotja is situated in a completely rural setting, surrounded by nature and tranquillity. Neighbours keep farm animals, such as geese and chickens, so you may occasionally hear sounds typical of the countryside and even spot an animal roaming freely around the estate.
- As this is a country house, you may come across insects, particularly at certain times of the year, which is common in natural surroundings.
- The garden’s automatic watering system is set to run approximately every two days and usually lasts between 10 and 15 minutes. As the property is located outside a housing estate, there is no door-to-door rubbish collection service.
- The rubbish bins are approximately a 5-minute drive away, at the entrance to the village.
- The furniture, décor and some features of the property may have been refurbished or updated over time, so there may be slight differences compared to the photographs shown.
HOW TO GET AROUND
You will need a private vehicle to reach and get around the area, as the property is located in a rural setting with no access to public transport services.
We recommend booking a hire car in advance with one of the car rental companies at the airport, especially during the summer months when demand is high.
