About this house rental
With a helping hand or two, the hosts have designed and built the longhouse themselves using natural materials out of respect for the surrounding nature. The house is kept in a minimalist style both inside and out to keep the focus on the view and the idyllic surroundings. The dogma has been that the decor should consist of flea market finds, so the sanctuary exudes coziness and soul.
Just outside the house you'll find hiking routes in the protected Natura 2000 area ranging from three to 25 kilometers. If you head for the beach, you can take a morning dip at the private jetty or you can hop on your bike and experience Røsnæs Lighthouse, sail to Samsø or enjoy lunch in Kalundborg's cozy town center. If you like golf, the cottage is located in the middle of a golf course and you can hear a click in the distance when the ball is hit just right. As the icing on the cake, you also have a vineyard next door where you can sample some good wine or buy a bottle to take home for those balmy evenings on the terrace.
