About this house rental
Behind the walls of this small, black wooden house lies an abundance of charm, coziness, and warmth. The raw wooden walls and the many warm colors give off plenty of lovely ’60s vibes. The house dates back to that very decade—and has looked almost exactly the same ever since. It’s simple and small, but it actually has everything you need. The heart of the house is the south-facing living room with its adjoining kitchen, which blends seamlessly with the large, newly built deck when you open the deck doors. The house’s few square meters invite you to spend quality time and relax together as a family, and if you need to take a shower, it’s outside in the fresh air with a view of the fjord. It’s simple, but absolutely fantastic.
The large, new wooden terrace provides the perfect setting to enjoy the house’s most special feature: the wonderful 180-degree view of the sea. Enjoy a glass of wine while taking in this view, as you stoke the fire and listen to the gentle murmur of the sea. Feel the rush of happiness wash over you in this very moment—it doesn’t get any better than this. Well, maybe if you hopped into a kayak and enjoyed the view of the coastline along Røsnæs and the headland with its beautiful lighthouse. You might even be lucky enough to spot a porpoise or two. Then take a walk down the dirt road near the house, past the horse pasture and the vineyards, and you’ll eventually end up at the beach.
The vacation home is ideal for a family of four.
