About this house rental
Not far from Saksild Bay you will find this newly built cottage in modern Nordic style. The facade is beautifully clad with wooden slats, the architecture is well thought out down to the smallest detail and the interior bears the mark of a special sense of aesthetics.
Every room has been designed with togetherness and the desire to spend time in mind. In the two lofts, you wake up with a view of the blue sky, and in the house's large kitchen-living room, the six-metre-long skylight window creates a fantastic light flow throughout the room. There's plenty of space and cosy nooks for the big family to gather and enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. When the rain is pouring down on a chilly autumn day, curl up on the sofa with the kids and watch a home cinema while enjoying the warmth of the wood-burning stove, and all summer long, open the folding windows and let the garden and sunshine into the living room.
Outside you can organise a family game of petanque on the large petanque court, and at the end of the day you can grill local produce from the area or make homemade pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven. You'll also find a swing set for the kids and both beach and green play areas nearby.
In the small town of Norsminde, which you can walk to in five minutes, you will find a cosy marina and Norsminde Kro, where you can enjoy an exquisite dinner. You can also pick up breakfast and delicious coffee at Fiskehuset or head to Saksild Strand, one of Denmark's best beaches.

5+ STARS An absolutely fantastic experience in Norsminde – we can only give our warmest recommendation.
Six of us friends rented this lovely vacation home in Norsminde to celebrate a milestone birthday – and it turned out to be a weekend we will never forget.
The house is beautiful, stylish, and incredibly cozy. The interior is modern and calm with lots of light and space to be together. The kitchen worked perfectly for our cooking and had everything we could have wanted in terms of equipment. We really enjoyed gathering around the table with good food and wine – the house just creates a very special atmosphere!
The outdoor areas are also fantastic. Even in March, we were able to enjoy the terrace and went for a long walk on the beach. The beach is only a short walk away, so we had a wonderful morning in the fresh air.
What really makes the experience extra special is the host, Kenneth. From the first contact, we felt safe and welcome. Kenneth is incredibly helpful, welcoming, and gave us lots of great tips for the area, restaurants, and experiences. Communication was quick and clear throughout, and everything in the house is well thought out down to the smallest detail.
You can clearly see that care and quality have been put into both the house and the guest experience.
We can only give our very best recommendations and would love to come back another time. We will be back!
