In Gühlitz, one of Wendland's typical round villages, tradition meets modernity: the former stable building was renovated in 2022 by Astrid and Christian with architectural expertise and a love of the original and is part of a farm property.



From the very first moment you notice how lovingly the old details of the house have been preserved. The historic stable doors with their round arches now serve as windows and doors, flooding the interior with light from three directions. The old clay walls ensure an optimal climate at all times and the wooden beams give the open ceiling a special charm.



Inside, Astrid and Christian have created a feel-good space for you through the interplay of warm, natural colors and elegant metal elements, which radiates homely minimalism and simple aesthetics. In addition to the open country kitchen and the spacious living area with fireplace and garden access, the cozy bedroom with king-size bed and a spacious bathroom also offer you stylish retreats. A travertine floor with underfloor heating ensures brightness and warm feet throughout the house.
