About this house rental

In 1927, great-grandfather Enrico chose these 22 hectares in what is now the heart of Rome for his farm. What began as a small office has, over time, evolved into this house, where the family has continued to live generation after generation. Today, you can enjoy the same panoramic view and the amber light of the sunset that floods the rooms.

The house is functional and quiet, with a large window framing the surrounding landscape. The spaces have been designed to offer you comfort and privacy. From the garden, you can admire the view while relaxing with an aperitif.

The garden offers a peaceful space where you can meet the local inhabitants: a colony of cats, four hens, and a rooster. At night, you might spot porcupines or toads coming out after the rain. The greenery of Caffarella Park surrounds you and invites you to explore.

You are in the heart of the Appia Antica Regional Park, 500 meters from the Nymphaeum of Egeria and the most famous catacombs. Just 5 km from the Colosseum, you can discover the ancient Via Appia, the Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella, and the Circus of Maxentius. Take a stroll through Caffarella Park to Vacchereccia to buy fresh ricotta from the local shepherd, or book a tour of the underground Roman quarries.
