This charming little holiday home is located in a small village in the beautiful Lake Highlands in Silkeborg municipality. The house is located on a quiet and green gravel path with other cottages overlooking the hilly landscape a short walk from a beautiful bathing lake with a sandy beach. A retro kitchen and bathroom, light blue floors combined with white painted wood and large, beautiful windows make this charming house a great little retreat from everyday life.
The cottage is slightly elevated on a cozy plot with a large terrace overlooking the valley. It consists of a cozy room with an open-plan kitchen, living room and dining area, a smaller bedroom and the coziest retro bathroom. The kitchen and living room have large, beautiful windows that let in lots of light and draw the nature outside into the small, cozy house. From here there is access to the large terrace where it's great to enjoy your morning coffee or to sit and grill in the evening sun.
The charming old kitchen with the old stove, warm wood colors and blue details give the cottage an adorable retro cottage atmosphere. Classic and personal style furniture mixed with flea market finds, Danish design lamps and fine details make the house cozy and charming - and the perfect place to create new memories.
In the living room with its large windows, the lovely daybed invites you to enjoy the view and the glow of the wood-burning stove's flames as the peace and quiet settles in. Play a game of board games and watch the snow slowly fall outside the windows in winter or open the patio door in summer and let nature come inside before taking a walk down to the swimming lake for a dip.
In the garden you'll find sun loungers and a cozy fire pit where you can prepare food or roast marshmallows. Enjoy looking for blueberries on the slope, going for walks or exploring the area's sights. Follow the cozy gravel path Løvsangerstien that runs behind the house into town, just a one and a half kilometer walk. In Bryrup town there are shopping opportunities, a veteran train track, a playground and not least a beautiful swimming lake with a sandy beach.
From Bryrup you are 20 minutes from Silkeborg, 20 minutes from Himmelbjerget, 40 minutes from Aarhus, 40 minutes from Legoland and 10 minutes from Them, where they have a larger selection of shopping opportunities.
