Guest Tax:
The spa town of Oberwiesenthal charges a guest tax to cover the special costs of providing tourist facilities and services. The guest tax applies to overnight guests. The guest tax is charged year-round at: €3.00 per person per night (Reduced rate: €1.20).
* Children up to 6 years do not pay guest tax
* Children aged 7–16, pupils, students, and severely disabled persons (50% disability or more) qualify for the reduced rate
