About this house rental
Magnolia House, the centerpiece of Alva Oaks Farm. A spacious farmhouse for groups, families, and shared experiences.
With room for 8+ guests, this home blends rustic charm and modern comforts. A large wrap-around porch, open living spaces, and a shuffleboard table for relaxed evenings together.
Perfect for groups, retreats, or extended family visits, Magnolia is a peaceful natural setting.
Additional homes on the property allow for larger gatherings, multi-family stays, or private events.
The space
Welcome to The Magnolia House, the crown jewel of the Alva Oaks Community and your ultimate entertaining HQ. This is where farmhouse charm meets fun in all the best ways. With 3 bedrooms (including a master suite with a king bed, a second bedroom boasting 2 queens, and a third with a trundle perfect for sibling diplomacy), plus 2 full bathrooms, there’s room for everyone—and then some.
The “lounge” is where the magic happens, featuring a futon, a dartboard, and the pièce de résistance: the “world’s smallest bar” (small in size, big on spirit). Need more? The living room has a glorious 9-foot shuffleboard table for competitive shenanigans. Step onto the wrap-around patio for ring toss or challenge your friends to a heated game of “drink pong” (hydration optional).
Hungry? The dining area seats 10—yes, even your cousin who insists on bringing their pet salad. Outside, you’ll find a charcoal grill ready to make your BBQ dreams come true and a spacious yard perfect for kids, pets, or that spontaneous dance-off. Just steps away is the communal fire pit, ideal for s’mores, storytelling, or awkward sing-alongs.
The Magnolia House isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience. Come for the charm, stay for the memories, and leave with a shuffleboard champion title (or not).
