Seasonal Note: As the Mackenzie Basin moves into the colder months, Twizel transforms into a beautiful alpine escape with crisp mornings, snowy mountain views and some of the clearest night skies in the country. Winter temperatures can drop well below zero, so we recommend bringing plenty of warm clothing and layers for exploring the region comfortably. After a day out skiing, fishing, sightseeing or adventuring around the lakes and mountains, Glenbrook Cottage offers a warm and cosy place to come home to, with the heat pump keeping the house comfortable year-round.
