The location is quiet yet central, with many local attractions, shops, post office, and pharmacy within walking distance.
Oberwiesenthal offers countless opportunities for hikers and is a top destination for winter sports. Skiing and sledding conditions are excellent. Take a ride on the cable car or the Fichtelbergbahn for a memorable experience. The all-weather toboggan run and Flyline are also highly recommended.
